Louise Tracy Freeman, aka Tracy Spencer (not to be confused with the namesake U.S. performer Tracie Spencer, or with the famous Hollywood actor Spencer Tracy) is a British singer became an icon of 80's dance music, today meteor dusted off several times between the myths of that period.
Discovery in mid-decade by Claudio Cecchetto, the undisputed guru among the scout the most prestigious in our country, the debut recording of Spencer Tracy goes back to 1986 with the release of the single "Run To Me", which in addition to provide for the (poor) reputation it enjoys today, even the sure victory to Festivalbar . The success of the song is that lead in the first Tracy instead of the sales charts across Europe, even to surpass, in the British hit parade, the only true number one on the pop music of all time: Madonna . Second stage of the career of Spencer, nice ex-black model without the trappings and the potential that commonly characterize a big black voice, is the single "Love is like a game", whose original version dates back to 1985 by the Hot Cold and bears the signature of the legendary Ivana Spagna.
Then, in the summer of '87, the third 45, "Take Me Back" album of ritual and accompanied by the return of the singer, the following year, on stage of Festivalbar with the less fortunate "I Feel For You", after which Tracy left Italy and moved first to London and then permanently to Hamburg. In Germany, Spencer marries and gives birth to two sons, leaving behind semi-final - with the exception of some sporadic hosted as representative of the time dear to us - the world of music that made her famous.
