Ancora una chicca di fine anni 80-primissimi 90, questa volta non cinematografica ma pubblicitaria. A incantarci รจ infatti, oggi come allora, lo spot di un profumo: l’indimenticabile Egoiste della maison Chanel. Ironico, sensualissimo, ansiogeno, di immediato effetto. La scena si consuma fra i balconi di un palazzo da cui alcune donne si mettono a urlare istericamente lanciando teatrali invettive («La pay, you wretch! "-" I have an enemy, I swear! "-" I will be relentless! ") against a man whose apartment is located in the central part of the building. 
The man is never seen, but it appears his hand resting on the railing of the famous perfume bottle (shown in size Eau de toilette "on drops ", rather than the spray version), the only element in contrasting color with black and white background that changes from there on in color images. The commercial ends as we all know: the mistreated tenants of the building, in unison, shouting repeatedly "Egoiste!" the mysterious Heartbreak Kid, choreographed opening and closing the windows of their luxurious rooms.
Filmed in Italy in 1990 and sent in the same year, Egoiste by Chanel perfume commercial is probably the most successful men of all time and one of the oldest among the catchy born following the launch of such a successful advertising campaign.
Trivia:
- this fragrance was also produced version "Platinum", the spot was a sort of spin-off of the previous year. The protagonist always the 'Selfish', this time no longer anonymous and struggling with his own shadow to prevent her from taking away the scent.
