Birthday Invitations On 11 Years Old

"Always together, eternally divided": Ladyhawke

The year was 1985 when in cinemas around the world was projected to Ladyhawke by Richard Donner, a new U.S. film destined to enter the annals of fantasy on the big screen.

Starring a very young Matthew Broderick, already reached success through the adolescent rebel WarGames, here in the role of Gaston Philippe, Rutger Hauer, acclaimed interpreter of a scary cyborg in Blade Runn, now as Captain Etienne Navarre, and Finally, the charming Scarface Elvira, better known as Michelle Pfeiffer, this time disguised as Isabeau d'Anjou, the young mysterious wheel around which the whole story.

The story takes place in the middle of the Middle Ages, sometime in a fortified village in central Europe where the little thief Phillipe Gaston, the Mouse said for his petite physique, escapes from the prisons of the castle of Aguillon shortly before his execution.

During the escape from the city, chased by the dreaded guards of the bishop who had become a slave, the young man meets Etienne Navarre, the former captain of the patrol that bishops, fighting against his old soldiers, led him to safety.

Phillip will not be easy to understand that his dark savior is actually the victim of a curse, hurled against him and his beloved from the evil Bishop of the county, fell in love with a young woman without being paid, is to use magic to split the pair.

Per farlo essi dovranno tornare al castello del Vescovo nell’attesa dell’imminente arrival of "a day without the night and a night without day," Elder foreshadowed in a dream I guess.

An escape, a meeting, a love story, all focus, therefore, about the attempt - the final satisfied - Isabella and Navarro returning to the town of Aguillon to break the spell that has long and keeps them separated so they can once again reunite as two lovers made.

CURIOSITY ':

- The location from which escapes Philippe, in the original plot and the eagle and the Bishop is the Vesco the city, but in the Italian dubbing L'Aquila became Aguillon to recruit French-speaking calls, both for consistency with the names of the characters, is probably for fear that presenting a "bad" identified as an Italian film could be criticized by our public.

- Despite the recall, in the Italian, a French-style setting, the film was shot (in line with the original story) almost entirely in Italy, between the provinces of Parma and Piacenza in the Park Nazionale del Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga, Campo Imperatore (L'Aquila in the Province). The refuge is the Rock of Monaco Calascio (pictured above), while the suburbs Medieval shown include the places Torrechiara, Castell, Soncino, Bacedasco of Vernon. The church inside which there is the final scene is San Pietro in Tuscania.

- The soundtrack of the film is the work of the composer and orchestrator Andrew Powell. In 1996 it was published the final version, entitled "Ladyhawke - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack," which replaces the first version of 1985 and contains new songs and reworked.

- The film was nominated for an Oscar in 1986 for Best Sound (Best Sound) and Best Sound Editing (Best Effects - Sound Effects Editing), but not win. Ladyhawke, however, has brought home the "Saturn Award of the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films for Best Costume Design (Best Costumes) and Best fantasy film (Best Fantasy Film), also received nominations for Best Music (Best Music) and Best Actress (Best Actress ). Among the other awards we are also mindful of the Golden Reel Award Motion Picture Sound Editors Best Sound Editing U.S. - ADR and Best Sound Editing - Sound Effects.

- The Sword of Navarre is a small anachronism in the film has a shape next to the thirteenth century, a period in which the story takes place

- The eclipse profile from the rose window of the church, while Navarre beats Marquet.

- Navarre, in the final sequence, he entered the church and engages in a duel with a soldier who took his place as captain of the guard: the combat is mostly "one by one, typical of styles such as greek, not medieval.

No one else dares to move, including the platoon of soldiers who exceed Navarre before entering the city, and even when the bishop was killed, none of the many clergymen present lift a finger: you arrive at the scene final where Isabeau Navarre raises his arms in the applause of all. If you give for granted that no one knows the story of the curse, seems rather irrational, then a plot in cui un uomo entra in chiesa durante la funzione, attacca le guardie, uccide il Vescovo, e per questo viene applaudito.

-"Signore, in verità I talk to God all the time, but, no offense, do not ever appointed. "

-" I believe in miracles, Marquet. My role requires me to. "

-" The best results I obtained with lies "

Trivia:

- According to what he tells a story created ad hoc and amplified by the media as only they can do, the duo Roxette was to become famous in the U.S. thanks to a Dean Cushman, a student (imaginary) of Minneapolis, who has returned from Sweden to the States with the deposit of "Look Sharp!" would succeed in getting the radio station KDWB 101.3 FM to spend more time ensuring the piece - Legend - the undisputed record success.

- Close to the release of "A Thing About You" for the promotion of the new Greatest Hits, Marie Fredriksson was diagnosed with a brain tumor, after hitting his head violently falling in the bathroom. The tumor is Malinga and Fredriksson is made after nearly a month of recovery post-trauma and subjected to long months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Because of this incident Marie has suffered some permanent brain damage, losing the ability to read and count in addition to having the right eye and mobility of the right side of the body. In 2003, after an exhibition of some of his portraits, the great Marie Fredriksonn published just 6 months after diagnosis of cancer "The Ch'ang," his only solo album in English.

- On November 29, 2005 Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson came together at the Dorchester Hotel in London for the awards presentation of the Broadcast Music Incorporated, better known as BMI. Anni 80 SCUOLA di (in)VI(c)TA

If the most "anniottantesca" between the information technology of 20 years ago the Commodore 64, and if one of the toys since the Rubik's cube is by popular acclaim the most representative, in schools and its fetishes, the word is only one: Invicta.

A collection of backpacks of different patterns and colors created in 1906 by a British manufacturer of bags for the navy and now the military, in the 80's, a true object of worship for teenagers of a generation. With or without
dedications and inscriptions, bare of toys and trinkets or walled, fluorescent green and yellow or white reflective stripes of red light canvas, backpack Invicta was the incomparable companion of children and adolescents between the classroom, school trips in buses, waiting at concerts and on outings with friends.

Students of the new millennium have been permanently abandoned, but it is not unusual to see some sample dated for a walk in the foreign cities, distinctive signal of Italian (as well as fresh seasoning), on the shoulders of Today thirty to forty away from home.

addition to Invicta backpack, among other large school age must the children of the Drive In are:

- folders inspired toy lines and cartoons of the period, including the lucky ones He-man, Grendizer, Barbie and Poochie.

- the boxes with compartments, whose outfit was usually composed of a pencil, an eraser, some pen, a ruler and a small team, a pocketknife and a set of colored pencils for amounts ranging between 6 and 12 pieces.

- Carioca markers, memorable only for their performance for the hissing noise produced by rubbing the tip on paper, and colored pencils Giotto, so harmonious and soothing pastel colors in their store in the chromatic scale in bucolicissima package with the painter.

- the Biribiro, Multi-tip spar with as many as 10 different colors writing, each associated with a different scent.

- quadernini the mini size, including the famous "Jeans" (all too similar, in hindsight, to extra-large boxes of condoms).

- the color rules, simple plastic aid to introduce children to the magical world of numbers and arithmetic.

- Replay of the Paper Mate, erasable pen which became indelible ink after 24 hours, still one of the best selling pens in the world.

- rubber bicolor Pelikan, to erase ink (blue part) and pencil (red part) by any written surface.
And now the word to you: how many and what other things mentioned above in the classroom between 80 and 89?
